In the vineyard |
| This beautiful parcel of 2.35 ha compensates
for the influences of its high altitude (400m) by an ideal sunning
due to its orientation south southwest. Its ground is brown limestone,
with fairly deep, argilo-muddy and stony, on marly Oxfordian
limestone. This vineyard of Chardonnay was planted in 1989. |
In the glass...
|
| Vinified and raised partly in half-muids
of oak (barrels of 500 liters), the wine thus obtained has at
the same time the characteristic flavors of acacia, cinnamon
and citrus fruits of Chardonnay, and those more complex of the
maturing in barrel. It is firm, yet balanced by the softness
of the Chardonnay variety, and can be aged a few years. |
At the table... |
| It will compliment perfectly fresh
salmon, a duck with mushrooms, a burgundian torte, crayfish and
the famous blue cheese from Bresse. |
